Jeff serves as President & CEO of Smiths Medical, a £836M ($1.2B) division of Smiths Group, plc. He joined the organization in March 2014. Jeff is an experienced senior executive with more than 25 years in the healthcare industry, including medical devices, diagnostics, services, and healthcare informatics.
Before joining Smiths Medical, Jeff served as President of the Global Reconstructive Division at Zimmer, where he oversaw five global business units and numerous functions. He held previous roles as President & CEO of the Health Division of Wolters Kluwer and Vice President & General Manager of the Global Diabetes Business Unit at Medtronic. Jeff began his career at GE Healthcare. During his 13 years at GE, he held progressively more senior executive roles, last serving as President & CEO of GE Clinical Services.
Jeff also serves on the Boards of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), the Joint Replacement Hospitals of America, Avidyne Corporation, the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region, and the Advisory Board of the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Jeff graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and received an Executive MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
