Joshua has been with the Food and Drug Administration since 2003. He has been an Investigator for over 14 years, with a primary focus on inspections of medical device manufacturers. In 2015, he became a Certified Medical Device Investigator with the agency, which he currently maintains, and in that same year he became a Medical Device Specialist with FDA’s Florida District Office. Over the past few years, he has taken a special interest in radiation emitting products, including those which emit laser energy and/or X-rays, and he routinely participates in the agency’s internal training and program development covering control electronic product radiation. He graduated from what is now Seminole State College with an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Science in Telecommunications Engineering, and he later graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, minoring in Micro & Molecular Biology.
