Deepak Sharma

Deepak Sharma is an experienced engineering leader working at a medical device startup- FlexDex Inc. He joined FlexDex in 2015 right around when the company was founded and has been driving R&D efforts at the company ever since. He has been instrumental in bringing FlexDex’s first product- Disposable Needle Driver to the market as lead engineer and has led next-generation product development projects along with intellectual property development. Deepak Sharma holds a deep interest in technical areas namely, mechanisms design, materials selection, and mechatronics. He is also an avid pickleball player and book reader. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Mandi and MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan- Ann Arbor.
