Carolyn Sleeth is the Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Capabilities and U.S. General Manager at Insulet, a diabetes technology company. In this role, she leads the commercial aspects of the U.S. business, including sales, marketing, and market access. Her global responsibilities encompass brand marketing, global commercial operations, global health economics and public policy. Diabetes is personal for Carolyn – she has had Type 1 diabetes since she was a teenager. As both an executive at Insulet and a wearer of Omnipod, the insulin pump designed and manufactured by Insulet, she has a unique view into the business and the market.
Before joining Insulet, Carolyn was a business leader at Medtronic for nearly 20 years. She served as the General Manager of the global Aortic business, overseeing the commercialization of therapies for aortic disease. She also led the global Endovenous business and held leadership roles in Global Strategy and Heart Failure Management within the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure division. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in Russian from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
