Archana Desai has over 15 years of MedTech experience in Finance and Strategy. Prior to working with the University of Minnesota, she was the Director of Strategy for the Image Guided Therapy Devices business at Philips. Prior to Philips, she held a variety of roles in strategy and finance at Medtronic and GE Healthcare, including substantive international experience in China and Switzerland. She is a champion of improving patient access and cultivating global mindsets and is co-inventor on a patent to prioritize and reduce barriers to adoption for medical technologies in hospitals.
Archana has an MBA with a Medical Industry specialization from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management and BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, two boys, and a dog.
