Javier is Director of Program Management and Site Operations at Ximedica’s Minnesota office where he is responsible for program execution and overall operations. He is a serial entrepreneur who has worked with small, medium and large medical device companies to bring products to market by leading teams in product development.
Javier led teams in the front end of product development at large multinational companies where he spearheaded the front-end design of an HFES user-centered product design Award-winning class III medical device. He also founded a medical device startup in the EMS space where he led the R&D operations designing a class II device , obtaining FDA approval in less than two years.
Javier was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he pursued a master’s degree and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and a Masters in electrical engineering. He holds a bachelors in telecommunications engineering from the University of Zaragoza in Spain.
